Welcome to Outback Adventures. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Outback Adventures website and services, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through outbackadventures.com.au ("the Website").
Please read these Terms carefully before using our Website or booking our services. By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use our Website.
By using the Website, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age, or are accessing the Website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Some features of our Website may require you to register an account. When you register, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.
We reserve the right to disable any user account at any time if, in our opinion, you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these Terms.
When you book a tour through our Website, you are entering into a contract with Outback Adventures for the provision of the travel services specified in your booking confirmation. A booking is confirmed once we have received your deposit or full payment (as applicable) and issued a booking confirmation.
All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST (Goods and Services Tax) unless otherwise stated. Payments can be made via credit card, direct bank transfer, or other methods specified on our Website.
A deposit (typically 20% of the total tour price) is required to secure a booking, with the balance due 60 days prior to departure for most tours. For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of prices on our Website, we reserve the right to adjust prices due to factors beyond our control, such as currency fluctuations, government taxes, or supplier price increases. If the price increase is more than 10% of your tour cost, you have the right to cancel with a full refund.
If you have special dietary, mobility, or other requirements, you must notify us at the time of booking. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special requirements, but cannot guarantee all requests can be met.
If you need to cancel a booking, you must notify us in writing. The following cancellation fees apply:
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover cancellation fees in case unexpected circumstances prevent you from traveling.
We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to insufficient numbers, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, you can choose between a full refund, an alternative tour of equivalent value, or a future travel credit valid for 18 months.
Outback Adventures is not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses that you may incur as a result of the cancellation of a tour (such as visa fees, vaccinations, non-refundable connecting flights, or accommodation).
If you wish to transfer to another tour or change your travel dates, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request. A fee of $100 per person may apply, plus any additional costs incurred due to the change. Changes requested less than 60 days before departure are subject to our cancellation policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have valid travel documentation, including passports, visas, and health requirements, for your travel destinations. Your passport should be valid for at least six months beyond your return date.
Outback Adventures is not responsible for any consequences resulting from a failure to have appropriate travel documentation.
We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellation fees, medical expenses, loss of luggage, personal liability, and other risks associated with travel. You acknowledge that the decision to purchase or not purchase travel insurance is entirely your own.
By booking a tour with Outback Adventures, you confirm that you are in good physical and mental health and able to complete the itinerary of your chosen tour. Some tours may involve physically demanding activities, remote locations, or high altitudes.
You must inform us at the time of booking of any existing medical conditions, disabilities, or mobility limitations. We reserve the right to decline a booking if we feel a tour is unsuitable for a participant's health or fitness level.
Outback Adventures reserves the right to modify any aspect of a tour, including itineraries, accommodations, activities, and schedules, before or during a tour due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control.
While we strive to operate according to published itineraries, no specific route or amenity can be guaranteed. You agree that any such changes will not be considered material and will not be grounds for a refund or compensation beyond what is required by law.
You agree to comply with the laws and regulations of countries visited, respect local customs and cultures, and follow all reasonable instructions from tour leaders and local guides.
Outback Adventures reserves the right to remove any participant from a tour if their behavior is deemed disruptive, illegal, threatening, abusive, or otherwise unsuitable. In such cases, no refund will be provided, and the participant will be responsible for their own travel arrangements and costs from the point of departure from the tour.
